STOOL TELLS IT ALL!
Sort of an odd topic for many, but really, the type of stool you produce is a perfect indicator of your health.
Sticky stool indicates undigested food that left behind lots of toxins and, of course, phlegm. Phlegm in digestive tract is a bad thing as it breads diseases.
The stool that is very hard and had problem leaving the colon, shows excess of air in the body. That type of stool is common in those who suffer of constipation. People with a lot of psychological problems have constipation often. It can cause hemorrhoids.
Stool that is well formed and has softness of banana is the right one. It shows well digested food.
Also, stool that leaves the body accompanied with lots of loud gases indicates food that was not cooked properly; overcooked, fried and excess of raw food fall in this category.
Diarrhea and dysentery are indicators of excess of bacteria in the system and it can adversely affect liver and kidneys when prolonged.
Mrunalini has started Yoga for Weight Loss and Detox (Slimmer in 60 days) in August 2012. She has made tremendous improvement in just 40 classes - from being overweight and suffering from pains to a regular, almost a daily practitioner of the course.

Wednesday, January 23rd at 18:49 This is an entrance to a home of a great Ayurvedic physician - Rajan and his sons, one of whom, Madhusoodan, is my Ayurvedic teacher, in Kerala in India.
Then, why on earth is it blocked by two stone barriers, you might ask?
An Ayurvedic physician sits on verandah of the house watching the patient entering the gate, then, the way he climbs, or jumps, or crawl over the first barrier - tells the physician weather the body is sick, with pains, immobilities and where the discomfort is, or healthy. If a patient is healthy he has only 17 steps to go to reach the second barrier. While the patient walks the physician can assert his/hers health through the Nine Facial Expressions as well. Once the second barrier is reached, the process of climbing over repeats itself for deeper evaluation of the bodily movement and with it the health of the patient.
After the second barrier there are Four more steps for the healthy patient to do down the stairs. In total 17+4=21. What is the meaning of the number 21?
We have 7 Dhatus (constituencies) in the body. They are: blood, bone, marrow, tissue, plasma, flesh and semen/ovum. They are multiplied by 3 Doshas - Vata (air), Pitta (bile), Kapha (phlegm). 3 X 7=21. A healthy person will have 21 steps to reach the ground. An Aurvedic physician will for any different amount of steps be able to correctly predict imbalance of the Doshas and their effect on the 7 constituencies of the body and their correlation with the organs.
Regular intake of sugar and artificial sweeteners will increase Vata (air) content in the body and make you depress. In addition it will increase your stomach fat, which will be hard to get rid of.

It has been a divine, spiritual and yogic experience! I learnt a lot about our physical and spiritual body. I also learnt how to ignite the fire of digestion, thought and spirituality. For all this, I would like to thank you immensely Franz; given a chance, I would do this retreat a million times!!!
COLD FOOD = BIG WEIGHT = BAD YOGA
Now, this is something! Do you know that by drinking cold beverages and eating cold food you'll increase weight? Your yoga practice will suffer too.
Sure, you might eat all the healthy food and yet miserably fail to lose weight or get rid of that tummy flab.
The cold food increases phlegmatic content (Kapha), killing digestive fire and making bodily air (Vata) cold. Cold air does not move but rather stays blocked in the joints and creating pains. In addition the elimination that is governed by air is obstructed, giving you constant tiredness, loss of will and feeling of heaviness.
Therefore always drink warm water, never cold, not even room temperature. Don't eat from a fridge either.
NOT LOSING FLAB AROUND YOUR BELLY?
Yes, many don't even if they exercise and lose fat everywhere but the belly. What is the cause?
I will be straight forward - SUGAR!
Your Leptin hormon is malfunctioning due to fat releases in Leptin and the culprit is fructose. Over the time the body becomes resistant to Leptin, just as it does to Insulin.
THE SOLUTION
Kill the sugar taste with Pranayama. Do at least 25 rounds of each breathing exercise as stated in the Slimmer in 60 Days course. Everyday.

WHAT TO EAT AFTER YOGA PRACTICE
Eating carbohydrates and sugar for breakfast, after yoga practice, will suppress your sympathetic nervous system and reduce the fat burning effect of your exercise. Instead, it activates your parasympathetic nervous system, which promotes storage of fat – the complete opposite of what you're aiming for. Sure not all people are in excess of weight. Nevertheless the above is valid for everyone even if you are underweight as the body needs that extra fire of dry fuel. Mind you, carbohydrates and fructose are wet fuel and leave too much toxins behind.
Avoiding fructose and other grain carbohydrates is a critical element of a successful weight loss strategy. This includes even freshly squeezed fruit juices.
Additionally, it would be wise to consider skipping breakfast (Check August’s Post - WHY BREAKFAST MAY NOT BE A GOOD IDEA FOR MANY). This is a form of intermittent fasting and I believe it is one of the most profound methods in weight loss management. This can radically improve your ability to shift to fat burning mode and effectively burn fat rather than glucose. Also, when you practice Yoga Andrini method in a fasted state you tend to have your cells rebuild and repair or get younger. Ha, needless to say – FOREVER YOUNG!
LOSE WEIGHT BY SLEEPING EARLY
YES, thats one of the best ways to lose weight. We all know how difficult is to go to bed by 10pm, but it does the magic as far as the weight lose is concerned. Every hour before midnight is counted as two hours of sleep, and every hour after midnight is counted only as half an hour. Combine this with the regular practice of yoga's Slimmer in 60 days course - you can not go wrong.

I have added a new recipe inside the Kitchen Of Yoga -
SIDDHA DOSA.
Dosa is a traditional South Indian recipe, which varies from region to region. However, I have re-designed the meaning of Dosa and prepared it with unique mixture of Buckwheat and Lentils. Buckwheat is highly recommended grain for yoga practice.
The recipe is easily made, nutritious and, needless to say, very tasty.
Bon appetite!
